With over 40 years of experience, Randy Barras graduated from cosmetology school in 1974 at the age of 20 in Houston, Texas.
While in Houston, Randy also worked as an apprentice at Galmiche from 1974-1977. In 1977, he attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco
for advanced training and later returned to Biloxi to open Randy Barras & Friends Salon.
Randy has traveled to New York, Boston, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, London, Paris, Spain and Italy to study under the top hairdressers
of the world such as Vidal Sassoon and Nick Arrojo.
All staff members go through extensive training as an apprentice to Randy for their first 18 months before they are placed on the salon floor.
